Why Homeowners Choose Us

Planned for Code & Safety

Ledger flashing, footings, post bases, railings, and stair geometry are checked and built to code. For outdoor kitchens, we plan gas, electrical, ventilation, and heat clearances up front.

Clear Scope & Clean Job Sites

We’ll help you choose between composite, PVC, pressure-treated, Ipe, or aluminum, taking heat retention, maintenance, and cost into consideration. Roof covers and pergolas are specified for wind uplift and water management.

Materials That Last in Georgia’s Climate

You’ll see what’s included, what’s optional, and the exact sequence of work. We control dust, protect landscaping, and clean up daily.

Our Process

  • We confirm goals (shade, cooking, seating, privacy, etc.) and align on a realistic price range.

  • We lay out structure, roof lines, clearances, and utility runs in 3D so you can approve the build with confidence.

  • A fixed proposal with milestones and lead times for materials and inspections.

  • Clean site, safe practices, and a single point of contact. Changes use written change orders with cost/schedule impact.

  • We review details, complete punch items, and stand behind the work.

Typical Outdoor Project Scope

  • Site review: grade, drainage, utility locations, tree roots

  • Engineering or sizing checks for spans, loads, and connections

  • Structure: footings, posts, beams, joists, hardware, anchors

  • Surfaces & finishes: decking, pavers, stone, stains/paints, metalwork

  • Railings & stairs: geometry, lighting, safety, and handrails

  • Outdoor kitchens: framing, non-combustible panels, ventilation, isolation from combustibles, appliance cut-outs

  • Utilities: gas shutoff and sediment trap, GFCI/AFCI circuits, dedicated breakers, waterlines, and drains (as applicable)

  • Lighting: step lights, post caps, task and ambient lighting, dimming controls

  • Permits, inspections, and HOA/ARC documentation where required

Common Concerns

  • Some deck materials retain more heat than others, but our goal is always to keep it as comfortable as possible. We’ll discuss decking color, orientation, shade, and fan options to keep it comfortable.

  • With the right materials, this will not create many issues. We specifically use non-combustible surfaces, heat shields, and ventilation with required clearances in our builds. Where needed, we’ll separate appliances from combustible walls.

  • As much as you want it to. We’ll help you balance look and upkeep in our material selections. Composite/PVC need periodic cleaning. Hardwood materials need oiling or sealing. And aluminum rail will last with minimal care.

  • Likely, yes. We provide drawings and specs and handle permits and inspections. We’ll also coordinate HOA/ARC submissions when required.
